Online learning day 3

Look at the awesome learning that's been going on in Room 16!
I know many of you have been enjoying the different learning and spending time with family. That's awesome!

Below are pictures from Rara and Isaac. I also heard that Te Aupouri is doing some wonderful learning at home. Good job :)

Checking in day 2

Hi all,
Thanks for everyone who joined in the hangout this morning and I hope you continue to do so as we will soon be doing some group readings together. It's going to be lots of fun!

From Monday we are going to have more of a structure to our morning sessions, and we are kicking off next week with a bit of a theme...tune in on Monday for more details! Also keep an eye out for an email from myself and the junior team about the hangout and learning for next week.

Today I've done a picture drawing of our poem of the week; Incy Wincy spider. Sadly, it won't let me upload my video! If anyone else has done one too (I know Heidi did earlier in the week!) I'd love to see it by email or in the comments below.

Have a great weekend everyone 😊

Online distance learning day 2

Online Distance learning day 2

Well done for completing your second day of distance learning everyone, and it was lovely to see those faces this morning on the google hangout. I can't wait to see some more! Soon we will be using the hangouts to practice some of our normal school routines so stay tuned for that.

Have a look at the awesome learning below from Madden and Waris!

What fab work guys, I can't wait to see what else everyone gets up to. Remember to email me your pictures so I can share them on the blog, and see what you've been up to!

Have a great day :)

Checking in from Miss Rayner Day 2

Hi everyone!
I am planning to post around 3pm every day with all the children's amazing work.  I will also be posting a video or picture every day just to check in and let you know what me and my house are up to as well!

Check out the link below to see my check in for today. I've attempted to join in with part of our online learning, but I found it pretty tricky!

Stay safe and happy and I'll talk to you all soon.

Online Distance Learning Day 1

That's the first day of Online Distance Learning over! The junior team could not be more thrilled with some of the positive responses we have seen, and how hard parents and children are trying even at this tricky time.

I wanted to share with you the work that has been sent to me today which just looks super.
I've also heard that Waris has been making cards for her best friend and looking at the letter S, and Luke, Rara, Annabelle and Madden have all made a start on the Online Distance Learning Journey.
Below are some pictures from Mary, Heidi and Isaac showing their super learning.

I can't wait until our class is back together again properly, but in the mean time I am so proud of all of you for being so brave and wonderful.

Stay safe everyone, and keep smiling!
